Volunteering at a Boys & Girls Club can be a fun and fulfilling experience. Few opportunities in life are as rewarding as helping a young man or women learn and experience new opportunities and success in life. That is why, as we say at the Club, “Great Futures Start Here.” The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is to enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. If you enjoy working with kids and if you get excited about using your time and skills to make a positive impact on youth, then please consider becoming a Boys & Girls Club volunteer.

I further agree to release and hold harmless the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County, institutions and references listed above, and any law enforcement agency from all liability and any damage that may result from furnishing this information to you.

As a volunteer, I understand that I will need to be fingerprinted, complete a TB test, and sign-in each time I volunteer. I also understand that I will be subject to background checks. All information obtained will be used by the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County only and will not be shared with any third parties.

Release of All Liability*

I further agree and understand that I am performing volunteer work at my own risk and peril and that no representations have been made to me by the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County as to the safety of the work I will perform. I further understand and agree that no employment relationship exist between myself and the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County, and there is no medical coverage or insurance coverage of any kind relating to the work I will be performing. I assume sole responsibility for any personal injuries, damage, loss, or property damage occurring during the performance of my volunteer work, and I agree to hold Boys & Girls Club of Placer County, its officers, directors, board members, employees, volunteers, and agents harmless from any and all liability, actions, damages, or claims. I hereby further release, hold harmless, and covenant not to file suit against Boys & Girls Club of Placer County, its officers, directors, board members, employees, volunteers, and agents, from any and all loss, claims for damages, lawsuits, responsibility, or liability of any kind arising out of my volunteer work. This release shall inure to the benefit of the parties' respective assigns, licensees, heirs, and legal representatives.
